Lol jk, Novel Nerds is made up of Yasmina, Farhana and Radiya. We made this together to nerd out over literary things, so please feel free to follow us.

DIY Bookmark Bijoux

By Andrea Singarella

In a matter of minutes you can make these pretty bejeweled bookmarks.

You’ll need:

  • Ribbon
  • Ribbon clamps
  • Flat-nose jewelry pliers
  • Jewelry jump ring
  • Charms, trinkets, or vintage earrings

Instructions:

  1. Cut ribbon to the desired length.
  2. Squeeze ribbon clamps of the same width as your ribbon to both ends using flat-nose jewelry pliers.
  3. Attach a jump ring and a charm, trinket, or vintage earring to the loop on each clamp.

And you’re done. Enjoy!

Look what I made last night.

(In before “you destroyed a book for a ROBOT!” hardcover hipsters- I did not cannibalize a rare edition of Alice[’s Adventures] in Wonderland; in fact, its the 2008 Borders Classics edition cover and its one of the two copies I got for holiday that year. Now the copy of “Tomorrow and Tomorrow” I gutted for the inside panels is a bit more rare because its a shite play. I only read it to deal with my guilt before cutting it up for this project and gawd was it awful.)

This is amazing. I WANT ONE!!!!
